Primary purpose :

Lead growth strategies for the brand and company by identifying new market opportunities, building strategic partnerships that drives new gen Z customer acquisition under a fast-paced dynamic environment. The senior manager is expected to drive the new approach, which is innovative and creative, uniquely to Tapestry.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Director and contribute to Tapestry BD team in following areas:

● Negotiate the new open, renewal, relocation, and closure plans with landlords of all channel

● Drive innovation and out of box idea into the business development that is unique to tapsesty

● Closely partner with Legal Department to prepare the contract to enable smooth negotiations

● Manage the progress of projects and update the project list in a timely manner 

●Lead assigned projects from the initial feasibility assessment through to internal approval, working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

● Liaise with Global Store Planning & Construction (GSPC) team to ensure on time delivery of all projects within budget

●Collaborate proactively and strategically with each brand's retail team to enhance and strengthen relationships with key business partners.

● Strategically leverage the business scale as tapestry to enhance the negotiation for an elevated condition for both Coach and Kate Spade.

● Plan and execute the tenjikai (exhibition) to enhance the brand awareness among key business partners

Education/Qualifications:

● BA or equivalent academic degree

● Business Development or including negotiations with free standing landlord, Mall, Outlet malls and Department Stores, ideally more than 5 years

● Open-mindedness and flexibility

●Demonstrate strong adaptability and resilience in response to changing business environments and organizational needs.

● Excellent inter-personal communication skill and building networks with related partners

●Willingness to learn and develop him/herself

●Business level English is a plus
