The Role

We are looking for a different kind of fashion buyer...

You could be a seasoned buyer who’s been there, done that and looking for a new challenge. Or maybe you’re a product-savvy merchandiser who wants to get closer to the product.

This role is for the buyer or merchandiser who wants their next move to mean something. Our team is creative, collaborative, and allergic to the corporate rulebook.

You’re obsessed with how product comes to life. You notice fabric quality and silhouette before price point. You have a sixth sense for what’s next and thrive in a fast-paced growing team.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Research and analyse fashion trends, market activity, and customer preferences.
  • Manage the end-to-end critical path to ensure product lands at the right time and ensure the workflow runs smoothly.
  • Assign Retail prices, Quantities and Size ranges for all Club L London products.
  • Work closely with the wider product team including design, merchandising, and marketing teams to align collections.
  • Support the CEO and Head of Product to deliver a balanced range across fabric, shape and colours
  • Be responsible for the range plan and ensure all data is accurate.
  • Manage and develop supplier relationships with our existing and growing global supply base
  • Collaborate with the trading and marketing teams to identify and implement innovative strategies that maximise sales performance and market impact.
  • Manage the Product admin assistant to ensure product creation and attribution of products is correct.
  • Monitor sales performance, adjust buying strategies, and react to customer demand.
  • Have a strong commercial eye and understand the brands vision to support the growth of the business.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Buyer, Merchandiser or Account manager in fashion retail (3+ years).
  • A creative eye, commercial instinct, and a love for elevated product.
  • Strong understanding of fashion trends, fabrics, and garment construction.
  • Excellent communication, analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to problem solve and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Identify new ways of working that fit the business as it continues to grow.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and buying/planning software.
  • Degree in Fashion Buying, Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

What's on offer?

  • Bi-annual bonus scheme
  • 25 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays)
  • Extra day off for your birthday
  • Flexible working hours around core hours of 10-4
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Enhanced maternity and sick pay
  • 40% staff discount
  • Healthcare Cashplan
  • Free onsite gym
  • Social events
