About the job

The Head of HR, Manufacturing Thailand is responsible for overseeing all HR operational activities, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, managing employee relations, handling labor unions, executing disciplinary actions, and driving the implementation of HR programs, including Learning & Development (L&D). This role ensures the seamless execution of regional HR initiatives while adapting them to the local business environment to enhance employee experience and maintain a positive work culture.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

HR Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, develop, and manage the local HR team to ensure effective execution of HR services and compliance with company policies. Foster a collaborative and performance-driven HR team culture, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and HR service excellence.


HR Partnering with local key stakeholders
  • Serve as a trusted HR advisor to local business leaders, providing insights and recommendations on workforce management and employee relations.
  • Partner with line managers and key stakeholders to support decision-making on hiring, performance management, workforce planning, and retention initiatives.


HR Operations & Compliance
  • Oversee all HR operational activities, ensuring strict compliance with Thai labor laws, regulations, and company policies. Oversee all payroll management, HRIS, and employee payroll services.
  • Manage employee relations, workplace disputes, and labor unions, ensuring smooth resolution of conflicts while maintaining a positive work culture. Lead HR risk management efforts, ensuring proper handling of disciplinary actions, grievances, and terminations.


Talent Acquisition & Retention
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for shopfloor related, ensuring timely hiring of talent to support business needs.


Employee Engagement & Workplace Culture
  • Champion a positive, engaging, and inclusive workplace culture by implementing local HR initiatives that enhance employee experience. Support and promote corporate Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) programs at the local level.
  • Partner with regional HR teams to ensure effective communication and implementation of employee well-being initiatives


Collaboration with Regional & Global HR Teams
  • Ensure the effective execution of regional and global HR programs, adapting them to meet local business requirements.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to the Regional Head of HR, highlighting workforce trends, risks, and key HR metrics.


About you

We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:
  • University degree (master’s degree) in any business studies.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of professional experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing in a unionized setting.
  • Fluent in English & Thai (both written and spoken) to effectively communicate with local employees, management and global stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of labor laws, industrial relations and regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, payroll processes, compensation & benefits and workforce planning.
  • Proven ability to manage conflict resolution, grievance handling and negotiations effectively.
  • Strong ability to manage change and drive HR transformation projects.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems for HR operations management.
