Showroom Manager – Reference Studios Paris

Reference Studios is looking for a highly motivated Showroom Manager to join our team in our

Paris office. With a sense for excellent service as well as designer, VIP, and client liaising skills,

you will manage the daily operations of the showroom and support our communications team.

The ideal candidate will be passionate and possess a solid knowledge of fashion, lifestyle, the

arts, and contemporary culture overall. A strong network in Paris, including stylists, editors,

artists, and talent, as well as international designers, is essential – a global network is

encouraged. As the heart of our Paris showroom, identifying with our brands, content, and

values is not only a plus – it is a prerequisite to act as an ambassador of Reference Studios at

all times.

 

Your Mission:

● Maintain and organise the Paris showroom on a daily basis (display of collections, flower

arrangements, supply management, etc.).

● Initiate, coordinate and execute showroom appointments.

● Build relationships and keep in touch with stylists on a global level.

● Keep an overview of the showroom stock - collections and other supplies.

● Assist the Communications Team with editorial sample requests.

● Oversee sample loans - send outs, tracking packages, ensuring safe returns.

● Arrange and coordinate VIP fittings.

● Organise our bi-annual Reference Studios Press Days hand-in-hand with the

Communications Team.

● Prepare and send-out our showroom newsletters.

● Continuously align with the Communications Team about the positioning of our brands in

digital and print titles.

● Support the Communications Team with monthly client reports (samples pulls &

showroom visits).

Your Profile:

● At least 2 years of previous showroom experience or comparable experience as store

manager, office manager or sales in the fashion sector.

● Passion and strong knowledge of fashion, lifestyle, the arts, and contemporary culture

overall.

● Well-established network of stylists, editors, and talents.

● Understanding of aesthetics and appealing visual displays of collections.

● Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

● Superior time management skills, ability to work quickly and efficiently, prioritise and

multitask.

● Open-minded and sociable personality; joy in social interactions.

● Ability to use spreadsheets (Google Sheets, Excel, etc.) and presentation tools (Google

Slides, PowerPoint, etc.), and experience with inventory management tools preferred.

● Fluency in English is required. Strong written and oral communication skills in German is

preferred. Additional languages (French/Italian) encouraged.
