We exist to make self-expression comfortable for all.
Then
Our story begins in the 1970s, with a surfer who broke convention and decided to live by his own authentic rules. After realizing life as an accountant was not for him, Brian Smith moved to California and recognized a desire to create sheepskin footwear for the surfing community. With a dream, Brian bravely pursued his passion, redefining his life and our culture forever.
Now
We honor our origin story while living fully for today. Now and forever, we are here for you. Those who refuse to be defined by convention. Our passionate community who rep UGG like no other. Those who have been with us since their first Classic Boot. Our new besties. All of you. Through it all, we’re here to make products crafted to last. Quality construction and responsible materialization are at the core of how we create for you.
Deckers Brands is made up of several individual brands, each serving customers in a different way – our Fashion Lifestyle Brands provide iconic craftsmanship and timeless style while our Performance Lifestyle Brands empower wearers to get out and get active. But all share the same focus on making peoples’ lives a bit more comfortable.
More than Just a Footwear Company
From our corporate offices to our global retail stores, there’s a curious, independent spirit that’s distinctively Deckers Brands. We’re about giving people the freedom to pursue their passions. And we’re committed to helping them succeed.
