Senior Womenswear Designer

Stine Goya is currently recruiting an experienced and highly creative and visionary Senior Womenswear Designer to work with the company's design team and oversee the full design process. 

Reporting directly to our Founder & Creative Director, you will play a key role in shaping the brand's seasonal collections—ensuring alignment with our creative vision, quality standards, and international market expectations.

As an important creative voice within the team, you will drive the design process from concept to final prototype, infusing each piece with a forward-thinking, fashion-relevant point of view while honouring the brand’s DNA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and Design Team to create distinctive, innovative collections that reflect the brand’s identity and vision.

  • Conduct in-depth research into trends, concepts, and potential creative collaborations.

  • Lead the design process from research, fabric selection, sketching, and draping to prototype stage.

  • Ensure consistency with brand image and quality expectations throughout the design and development stages.

  • Participate actively in fittings and adjust designs where needed to perfect garment construction and fit.

  • Responsible of making all technical setups ready for pattern cutters and development.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align development with collection timelines and goals.

  • Work closely with the creative team and stylist throughout the show process, from concept development to final execution.

  • Support the Creative Director in fostering a collaborative, creative studio environment across projects and presentations.

Your Profile

  • A highly skilled Womenswear Designer with a strong sense of product, form, and detail.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a professional fashion design studio.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Deep understanding of modern, innovative fashion design with a precise hand and strong sense of style.

  • Proven ability to translate creative direction into commercially viable, high-quality products.

  • Keen understanding of proportions, measurements, and garment construction.

  • Strong technical knowledge of womenswear and an ability to come up with creative solutions. 

  • Sketching and illustration skills, both in apparel and accessories.

  • Autonomous, self-motivated, and capable of managing the full design process independently.

  • Highly organised, pragmatic, flexible, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, InDesign, Excel
